JellyBean JellyBean is a lovely black bunny with thick shiny fur. I would say she's a medium size, perhaps weighing around five pounds. Jelly B is somewhat shy and reserved, but has a nice personality and has never nipped. She would do best with a calm person as her main handler. The last few months she has been getting used to having cats around and an old dog. Living in the family room has exposed her to lots of noise as well. This bunny will sit on my lap for as long as I want to pet her. Jelly Bean was somewhat neglected as a very young rabbit so she seems to want/need to be snuggled and petted. She would welcome the right rabbit partner. Indoor home only please.

Hope Hope is one of three bunnies who were found in Glendoveer Golf Course. She is very sociable, enjoys being picked up and cuddled. Her litter habits are very good and she is just a sweet, young bunny. Hope and her sisters are just over 1 year old and weigh about 6 pounds.

Penelope Penelope is a neutered female Dutch. She's an adult, estimated to be at 3-4 years old. She's a shy but sweet darling, and is fastidious in her housekeeping! She's curious once comfortable, and while not wild about being picked up, will warm to you and enjoy being held and stroked by a calm and confident adult. She has really bloomed since coming to us from a situation in Hillsboro, and will gingerly play with toys now. It took us a year of constant daily exposure to hay to get her to try it, but now she loves her hay and eats a great balanced diet. She is happy, healthy and trim, and just needs to find her forever loving home!

Buttercup I am little Buttercup , a honey and white lion head mix girl, complete with a topnotch and a white button nose. I am full of energy, and I am about 2 years old. I do chase kitties, but I never nip. I would love a forever home with older children or adults where I can have a roomy, bunny-proofed play area so I can hop into your heart. Indoors only.

Pixie Pixie is a little rex snow princess bunny who knows her mind. Pixie is a true diva in spirit and very unique. She has silken white fur, pearly pink eyes and a pixie shaped nose. She has a zippy, spunky personality and will be best in a home with a person who knows rabbits, but doesn't have other rabbits. She weighs 3 ½ pounds.

Tigerlily Tigerlily
I am a Beaverton 'valley rex girl.' I was rescued with my siblings as a babies by a very nice family. They had to move so now I am up for adoption! I have a sweet personality, cute curly whiskers, and can be held and petted. I about 7 months old, so I still love to play and do silly binkies when I am happy. I am good with my litter box, too. Tinkerbelle and Scout are my siblings. Indoor only; Portland area please.

Angel Angel
I am a pretty young English spot female about 1 year old. I was happy when I got rescued but I had a surprise litter of babies. I was such a good mom! My babes were recently adopted to nice forever homes, but I am lonely so it is now my turn! I am quiet natured but curious. I love to curl up in my blanket. I can be petted and I really enjoy exercise time. Please come and meet me by contacting my foster home. Indoor home and Portland area only.

Suki Suki is a sweet little bunny with black ears and pearly red eyes. She has a black spot on her nose, symmetrical white pattern on her ears and a funny little black spot on the back of her tail. She can often be found chewing baskets. She currently lives with her daughter, Suri. They could be adopted together or Suki could be adopted as a friend for another rabbit. She's a bit hesitant at first but quickly warms up. She loves to be brushed. She weighs 4/12 pounds and is very good about using her litter box. She is currently in foster care in SE Portland, OR, and dreams of a permanent indoor home.

Gloria Gloria
I am a beautiful big girl (8lbs) with super-size bunny ears and close to 11 months old. My foster Mom said I am one of the cleanest bunnies she has ever had. I would like to meet another bunny because I have such a sweet laid-back personality. I'd really like it if you came to sit with me so I could introduce myself and get to know you to see if I'm your dream bunny.

Gardenia Beautiful Gardenia is a larger bunny, about 10 pounds of big white-bunny love. Sweet and curious but still a bit shy, Gardenia is good with her litter box (as you can see by this photo!). We're guessing she is less than 5 years old. Come meet Gardenia at our next Outreach on March 13, 2010.

* Long haired rabbits

Grooming can be a great daily ritual where you and your bunny make time for each other. You can groom while watching your favorite show, after a cup of tea, or before bed. It's soothing for you both -- and a great way to strengthen the bond between you and your companion animal. If you simply don't have the time, angoras can be trimmed down (carefully!) with special scissors every other week.And like wathcing a living chia pet, you can see them grow back into all that fluff!
